These Terms of Use apply to the current App Store build of Osty: Diary & Routines.
App scope
Osty is a personal daily life tracking app. The current App Store build is local-first and does not require account creation, sign-in, or cloud sync.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, lawful purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's platform terms.
Your content
You are responsible for the content you create in the app, including notes, activities, to-dos, moods, and local backup or export files.
You keep ownership of the content you create.
Local storage and backups
- In the current App Store build, your content is stored locally on your device.
- You are responsible for any backup or export files you choose to create, store, or share.
- If you delete local data or remove the app without keeping a backup, your content may be permanently lost.
In-app purchase
Osty Pro is a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase.
- Payment and billing are handled by Apple.
- Purchase restore is available through the app using Apple's purchase system.
- Refunds, if available, are handled according to Apple's policies.
Prohibited use
- use the app for unlawful purposes
- interfere with the app's operation or security
- attempt to reverse engineer the app except where prohibited by law from restricting that right
- use the app in a way that violates Apple's terms or applicable law
Availability and changes
We may update, improve, or change the app and these Terms over time.
If future versions add account creation, sign-in, sync, or account-linked storage, these Terms will be updated to reflect that functionality.
Disclaimer
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that local data loss will never occur.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, use, goodwill, or profits arising from use of the app.
